Yosemite & Sequoia National Parks
Planning to visit Yosemite & Sequoia National Parks. Any suggestions on a big rig friendly campground? Thinking about Yosemite West/Mariposa KOA and Sequoia RV Ranch. Thoughts?

I am heading to Yosemite in a few days. Sequoia in a few months. Lucked out and got both inside th parks. Was not so lucky a few weeks back when we tried for inside Yosemite in the summer. Booked up in seconds and maybe even a second. ??
The closest you can get to the Yosemite Valley from outside the park is Indian Flat. It is in El Portal about 30 ish minutes to the valley. It satisfies the close part but it is pretty basic as far as RV parks go. It is on 140 close to the west gate. Just a another option to consider if close to Yosemite is a major consideration. Have fun!
