@ what age do black/tan dogs begin to go gray?

Specifically interested re: dachshunds and min pins. We don't know exactly how old Darcy is but from earlier vet estimates, we're figuring she's about six going on seven. Just in the last few months s...

Our dog is a Heinz 57 (he may have a little Mini Pin) he is black very little grey hair ........he will be 15 this summer. He is like the engerzier bunny no one can guess by his coat or his energy that he is old as he is but we have had him since he was a puppy. Our DIL's Dachshund is 15 this year as well he shows his age & does have more grey.
