@ what age do black/tan dogs begin to go gray?

Gus turned 7 in January.Being Rottweiler, he is slightly larger, and has a slower metabolism so it is hard to compare He has been getting gray hairs on his chinny chin chin for about a year now. Not bad yet but noticeable to the point that it makes you sit back and think about old age starting to creep in on him.
