Our long term plan for the bottle lamb is to get a new mom to accept it as hers. We're looking for a ewe that delivers a single. Then we'll smear birthing fluid all over the bottle lamb and place it with the new mom. We had one deliver a single yesterday but the new mom was a first time mom and the ewe is small; we thought it best to not burden her with another lamb.
Until we can find a foster mom we will continue to bottle feed even though the bottle lamb hates the bottle.
