When I was under 5, and it was my Mom, me and my brother home for two or more weeks, we had a small flock of sheep. The boss ewe did something very much like the ewe at your place yesterday.
All set ups, mangers, feed boxes etc were wood. My mother had taken me with her to tend the sheep when we found this. & somehow the ewe let my Mom help her and get her free. But after that incident, my mother didn't risk taking either my brother or me with her when she tended the sheep.
