A good reason not to follow FB advice...update 9/18

A couple of weeks ago Izzy bleed into all her toenails..it was quite startling...I posted pics and asked on FB if anyone had every had this happen with their dogs and received a few replies saying ...

What a very odd symptom! I've never heard of such a thing. We have some hemophiliacs in our family and I know a lot of unusual bleeding is caused by clotting numbers being off,but why? And how? I hope Miss Izzy will soon be all fixed up again and I'll be interested in the diagnosis, if the vet comes up with one.
