Sue T...Kodi's issues certainly may have been do to the terrible conditions he was forced to be in...Izzy has not had any trauma..poor food...poor living conditions..she lives a very good life, has adequate exercise within the confines of her cardiac issues... and good food and medical care ... .but luckily I was concerned enough to take her into the cardiologist as her blood pressure was very high, which in turn lead to blood work and urinalysis that proved her to be in renal failure...so whether the bleed was caused by the hypertension ( which the cardiologist feels was the cause ) or not, it may have prevented her from progressing into a renal crisis...glad it worked out well for your dog.
