I'd just call 24hr. Petwatch and ask them.
You could also use that call to make sure that the registration actually went through and is still "current". It's not always automatic, as a friend of mine found out after chipping by a similar method (dunno if it was this company).
Some companies have annual fees, some sell lifetime "memberships", and some a choice of either.
