Homeagain I do have experience with- that's the service we use.
The one-time registration puts the animal in the system for "life". No annual fees, no charge for information changes like new address/contacts etc.
I guess I should add that both dogs we have registered with them have been so for at least five years...this was the policy when we signed them up, anyway, and when I periodically check they're still in the system.
