I'm gonna say this because I have sure met some HYPER ROTTEN JRT's WITH CLUELESS OWNERS that not only allow but embrace and ENCOURAGE psychotic behavior in the breed.. BUT BU BUT......
Last summer we ended up camped next to two school teachers and I just cringed when I saw they had FOUR JRT's with them. The women were calm/quiet and their 4 footed kids were the most polite, quiet little squirts we've ever camped next to. The morning they were breaking camp the dogs did sneak over to pay our dogs a visit. There was no snotty posturing or orneriness. Just wagging tails and greetings to all of us. They were very pleasant dogs. Their owner was calling them back in seconds and they just trotted off in peaceful unison. It was nice to see... I wouldn't have believe it had I not seen it with my own eyes.
Author Barbara Woodhouse believes there are no bad dogs,-- only inexperienced owners. Sorry Barbara.. I think most Rvers KNOW there are INDEED bad dogs with WORSE owners... LOL.
