Jesse does NOT have Anaplasmosis. He has some "inflamed cells" in his urine. We are now checking his thyroid to see if that is the cause. Vet indicated it could also be a bladder infection or bladder tumor. He has no bacteria in his system but he is currently on Clavamox for a skin infection. This happened about 4 years ago as well, at the same time as another skin infection. Hoping the testing shows a thyroid issue and this turns out to be the cause so we don't have to x-ray or ultrasound his bladder. They are going in for canine influenza shots in a week and the vet will do another urine check to get a status. Oh, joy, I get to chase Jesse around with a cup again! :B
