Another way of doing things...
Zari has been off her food for a couple of days...has been coughing and last night started crying out in pain if she was touched and this morn was lethargic.....so off to the vet we went when he open...

Zari did really very well. The whimpering at a touch was back pain with Poquita (a 5 lb chi/pom.) She had hurt her back jumping off an RV step before we could grab her, and it bothered her ever after. I suppose pain could put one off her feed, in some dogs. I hope you find out what's going on. Zari still looks great. Funny that you were the local entertainment that day, as the natives had never seen a one-eyed, Canadian chihuahua before. :B
I know what you mean, if it had been Izzy the barking would have been crazy LOL Zar was feeling so poorly she only looked at him....and the GS certainly wasnt feeling very well either...I was walking by a massage clinic the other day and it had one room, with a large glass door visible to the street... I would not want to try and be zen on that table, knowing everyone passing by was taking a quick gander LOL
