Anybody have pet goats???

The trail was just barely wide enough for me and this guy. Have to admit that I was a little nervous.

Great pic, but I gotta tell ya it makes my blood run cold to see how close folks are to what are still wild animals!

Fella got killed by a mountain goat in our own Olympic National Park a few years ago. He challenged a he-goat for mastery of the trail and lost, big time.

They love hanging out on that cliff above Logan Pass visitor center. I first saw them there in the late 50s. It's amazing how they can leap around on that cliff and still keep their footing.
