Frontline Plus contains two active ingredients, fipronil and (s)-methoprene. Tritak contains those two active ingredients and adds a third (cyphenothrin). Given that Tritak *should* work better than Plus given the extra ingredient, I think you can't assume that Plus would have worked better. I know that's no comfort, but FWIW. I hope they come through for you and cover the cost of treatment.
