Blind Dog

My beloved GG fell down the stairs last night and hurt herself pretty bad. I had to take her to the vet this morning and he put her to sleep. She was the best dog I've ever had. The pain in my chest is terrible but I know it's not as bad as it was for her. She didn't sleep all night, she didn't break anything, just real sore. Her quality of life was no longer a joyful life just fear of when the next fall was coming. I could not put her through another fall that could be even worse. Thank you for your advice and comments about how to help her.
