Pits and pit mixes have it the worst of any breed. There are so many and unlike chihuahhuas, having a dozen running around is not a practical option for most people. And guess what those lovely breeders do when a dog is done producing or there is no market for the pups? They tske them to the shelter...individually or whole families...and leave them to be executed.
Umm, I don't remember the OP saying anything about 'pit mixes', nor did they mention getting a dog from a ####*** breeder. They merely asked a question.
