What kind of stomach problems? Our Pit, Stinky, has bouts of rumbling stomach and he won't eat for a day until it quits. I've had him to a Vet, diet changes in case of an allergy, ultra sound exam, Pepsin, etc, and still can't nail the cause. He's on Signature now that works most of the time. If Calvin has the rumbling stomach that can be heard across the room and the flavor of Royal Canin works, I'll try it though I've tried Canin before.. Maybe the wrong "flavor"..
Thanks
Jerry.
No it's not any type of rumbling stomach issues.
He's been taking Metroclopramide half to one hour before he eats. That combined with the R.C., has his issues pretty much in control. However, if I take him off of the R.C., he's back to throwing up his food once a week or so.
Either way, he waits at least an hour and a half before playing ball, or running hard.

Lassie has to lose weight as well, she turned 14 and having a little problem getting up. I bought her diet dog food and she likes it just as well.
Thanks, but IMHO it's all bout the Man Upstairs, and you'alls collective prayers! He's gotta loose some weight though.

Pops do you have Calvin on diet food?
Awh geez, sorry to hear of Lassie's problems. There was a time when Harlee was with us. I had to give her a boost up the stairs, or she couldn't get in the Eagle. She wouldn't use the aluminum ramp I bought her either.
RE. Diet Food? Nope, not this kid, he won't touch the stuff! He only likes Canadian bred Bambi n' Potato. The Royal Canin Selected Protein stuff.
Seriously though, this is the only stuff that he likes that helps with his stomach problems.

Is Valley Fever in Northern CA as well? Hope Calvin is doing better.
What winter area's are affected by Valley Fever?
Here's another source of info on V.F. by The University of Arizona (there is a map in it as well, by clicking the selection to the left "how dogs get V.F.);
