Same here.
Shortly after I was married, a motorcycle was my primary vehicle for the first year. I wore a half-face visor, and can assure anyone that even at city speeds of 35-45 mph max, there's a ton of crud that flies off tires - sand grains in particular, sting when they hit. I would NEVER subject my dogs' eyes, ears or nose to that.
