cat litter box space in TTs

We are wanting to get a new TT next year. Our current TT has the perfect spot for a litter box, but because of several other issues, it's time to trade it in for something shorter. So far we have looked at a couple TT models and found only 1 that for sure has a similar "perfect" space for the litter box. (In this case, it's an open space under a counter connected to the bathroom sink.) We definitely want to keep the litter box in the bathroom, not in any of the other "living" spaces of the TT, so we're interested in TT models (24" box or smaller) that have bathrooms big enough to have floor space - either under a counter or in a corner of the bathroom - for a litter box. Any recommendations? Thanks!

  • Seems a lot of people find some dandy litter box spots in 5ers, but our truck won't pull one. Thanks anyhow.
  • I know its not specifically to your question, but we bought a FW with a 1/2 bath so we could put the litter there. I also bought a replacement door, so I can cut a pet door thru one for her access so we don't have to leave the door open.
  • Interesting idea in the dinette. Thanks! And thanks, WoodGlue - that's pretty much what I had in mind. Good to know since we're considering Lance campers.
  • My in laws put the litter box in their TT inside the compartment beneath one of the dinette benches and leave the compartment door open for kitty to come and go as he pleases. Out of site, out of mind.
  • That's what I've heard from a lot of folks. We would prefer not to use the shower stall (again due to other issues.) Anyone else have a recommendation? Large bathrooms with enough floor space for a box?
