When we got our oldest cat he had a problem adjusting to the new surroundings and was peeing on the bed & other places.
We confined him to the bathroom for a couple weeks with his litter box. He wasn't too happy about it but it's been nine years with no problems.
IF the dog lifted his leg on paying customers. He's be gone too. and to be blunt, and honest. A dog has no place in a day care center either
