CG for dogs, South of San Francisco Bay Area along coast

If you go down to Pismo Beach, the dogs are allowed on the beach but must be leashed. Of course, the further south you walk away from town, the more likely the dogs are to be playing in the water off leash.

All the state parks will allow dogs but not everywhere, and usually the beaches are off limits to dogs. If you go to HMB you can just go down the trail south about 1/8 mile and thats where the state property ends, you can go down the horse trail to the beach and go off leash. Or drive up to Princeton a few miles and go out to the point where everyone lets their dogs romp in the inlet, no waves and a nice beach.
