Never had a chance to ruin it because it's not been allowed.Seems to work fine in the majority of states. On our first trip to PA we were amazed that there was no fee to enter the park and use the gorgeous picnic areas over looking the lake.
I envy those of you who can travel an hour or so and enjoy camping in a state park, and can camp every weekend if you want.
