How many people have been infected and are asymptomatic? What is the real mortality rate?
Please keep in mind the infection/mortality rates for the "regular" flu are much higher than COVID-19, at least at this point in time: https://www.cdc.gov/flu/about/burden/preliminary-in-season-estimates.htm
I will admit that I am a bit anxious about my son being at the PAX-East conference this weekend, especially since SONY pulled out. The event site is taking extra precautions to avoid the spread of any viruses. While the CDC and WHO should definitely inform the public and government entities of the potentially devastating effects of such a virus they can go a long way to not cause panic to ensue.
