So I just learned today on the Emergency Operations Center Facebook page, that Brevard County in FL, who looks like they have zero cases of Covid-19..... very possibly has lots of it because they haven't had any tests available (bang head on desk). I mean, the county is a popular Spring Break destination, and the Space Center draws people from all over the world! Their criteria for testing was crazy-tough (didn't accept "feel sick/fever" and "community exposure" as a reason to test) - and then you'd get sent to Orlando to hopefully get tested there. One woman said the wait for a test was 3 to 6 hours of sitting in the hospital ER room.
So don't assume an area is "safer" because of a lack of statistics.
