Quincy our 9 yr old Dobie is having trouble and is wetting without seeming to realize it. We talked to the Vet and he said it could be a urinary tract invection but they didn't have any openings for a few days, but if we could bring in a urine sample they could take a quick look.
Well we got a sample (sounds easy,but you have to be fast) and rushed it in to the vet.
Before the Vet was finished checking it, one of the girls in the office started explaining that she is an older dog and her muscles are relaxing and it's just an older dog thing.
Then the vet told us what he found . There is no infection, the PH is good BUT Glucose level is out of sight. We may be looking at diabetes. Quincy is going to see the Vet on Saturday.
