Dangerously low temps/Florida warnings for pets??

I do recall one year being at a place called Arrowhead (if memory serves) in California and at the top of mountain in a parking lot was a very small pile of snow overtaking a few parking spaces. Sticking out of the snow was a sign that read "Danger stay clear". I took a photo of it but I don't know what I did with it.
