I also have saved there collars and leashes,, My last loss was our 12+ year old Black Lab Mastiff, he was 180 pounds of love! Last year of his life was tough on him and us,, hips went then he had a stroke and really needed our help. Been over a year now and I still tear up missing him so. I knew it was coming so I made a plaster plaque of his paw print and keep it in garden where he enjoyed laying.
We have many fond moments saved on film and video that i look at often, my screen saver is our camping trips with him..
The house was so empty with out him we found another beautiful puppy a month later and he is now just over a year.
I told Snicker that I would never forget him and love him forever For he was the "Greatest Dog In The World"
They leave behind a huge hole in our hearts! RIP my buddy..
