It is with a very heavy heart my wife and I send this along. Our dear beautiful Abby is gone. We helped Abby leave this life on May 9th 2014. She was in her 16th year and this was the hardest thing I have ever done. I will miss Abby forever. Her favorite toy was a vinyl carrot and it was with her as she went peacefully to sleep with the two of us at her side, her head in my hands and looking in her eyes I told her how much I loved her. We had Abby's body cremated that evening. Her spirit will live in our hearts until we too leave this life and will again be with our dear Abby. Abby was a Maltese Poodle cross. She loved my wife as much as life itself. We were so very fortunate to have been with Abby as she passed through her life. Click For Full-Size Photo.

I feel your pain. I had to put Darcy, my minpin of 16 years down about a month ago. She traveled many miles on my window arm looking at new country with me and it had to be the hardest thing I have ever done also. I never knew how hard it would be to say goodbye to a little fur baby.. Her kidneys failed and there was no other choice. Didn't want to hijack your post, just wanted you to know that you were not alone and I share your pain..

Today June 9th 2015 it is with great sadness we have sent our dear Karmel to join her sister Abby. She left this life being held in our arms and knowing how much we loved her. Karmel a Chihuahua was the purest soul I have ever known. We could not have found a more sweet and loving being. She was Abby's best friend and soul mate and is now with her again. Karmel was a rescue dog we were so lucky to get when she was four and we were blessed to have shared her life for the past seven years. Karmel was a very frightened dog when we got her and it took a few years before she realized we were her forever family and was far from the darkness that was her past. We will miss her forever and look forward to the time when we are all together again. We love you Karmel and Abby will look after you till we are once more with you. Rest in peace dear Karmel

We never have them long enough..I said to someone last week that they take a piece of our heart when they leave and the person said " but they also leave a piece of their hearts with us " To me that is a comforting thought...

It's been a year since Abby went on and We miss her like it was a few hours ago. Rest in peace our precious Abby. Time is but a flash and then we will be with you again.

In this very difficult time to know that others care and grieve with me is comforting. I will never get past losing our Abby but the ache in my heart will lessen with the passing of time.
