Dog age calculator
My oldest Collie Lassie turned 13 or 96 in dog years. I found a dog age calculator on the Pedigree web site. You type in the human age and the breed and it gives you the dog years.

Actually, this calculator isn't breed dependent so much as it is size dependent. Even mixed breeds are treated the same as purebreds of similar size.
Of course. They're just making it easier (more idiot proof?) for people with purebred dogs. It's probably a bit easier to select "toy poodle" or "standard poodle" from a drop-down menu instead of having to fill in a weight box. Any way they do it, it's still based on size.Pawz4me wrote:

- My Lab is currently 15.5yrs old. Age not available? I thought Lab's were one of the most popular dogs in the country.
- My late lab, Chipper, lived to be 14.5 years old. The Pedigree site didn't go past age 13 for this breed. I guess he wasn't supposed to live that long - lol!
