dog and possible urinary tract infection

Can you get her RX refilled? I believe I'd call the vet's office/answering service and see if they would call in a scrip for her. That kind of infection can just about drive you nuts until you get something for it. I don't think I'd wait.

Her increased outings for urinating are her way of telling you this feels bad.

It could also be a bladder stone that is causing the increased urge, and infection. Have your vet check that too. I don't know what kind of dog you have, but the smaller dogs are suspect for this. Can happen with any dog though.

Daisy is a beagle pointer mix, around 55lbs. I talked to my vet he said not to worry about it today and we will take care of it tomorrow. He suggested tomorrow they will take an x-ray and figure it out. I will also be bringing in an urine sample for them. Thanks everyone for the advice.

Such a worry.
One of my ****zus {edit "S hitzus"} had blood in his pee several months ago.
Vet took xrays he was found to have strivia {typo?}
Caused by to high of a protien in his food.
Vet prescribed 2 months of canned Hills s/d diet food which fixed him up good again...but a lifetime diet of Hills Prescription diet c/d kibble.

If your dogs are anything like mine they will sense something is not right and will play that card right till the end.
