Dog missing from accident

On I55 in Arkansas near exit 41 some dear friends had a tragic accident this week. They had a roll over. In the accident their black Scottish terrier was killed and their Wheaton coloured Scottish terrier ran from the accident. If you are travelling in that area or know someone there please look for Doogie. He is cherished. The husband was air lifted to Memphis. Prayers welcomed.

  • I don't want to sound incentive but bottom line, did they have identification on their collars?? Did they have collars? Sometimes, it's never gonna happen, does happen.... Good luck finding your friend. About 12-16 strays that have come to us we have been lucky to find their homes, or a good home, all but three. They have found a home with us.. There is no more room in the inn...
  • Sending PPPs (Papillon Pings & Prayers) for the whole family. Hopefully, Doogie will still have a collar with I.D., or was "chipped", so that he can be reunited with his family.
I would recommend that the family (or a friend like you) can contact the local Shelter and Vets, to let them know to be on the look out for the missing dog.

How far was this from their home? Is there a chance that Doogie is going to turn up at the house one of these days? Stranger things have happened....and I hope they can happen again:)

I don't know if it will help, but I re-posted this message to the PapFriends Forum (for Papillon Owners), of which there are some members that may live in this area....it's the best I can do from here:)
