I don't care about the germs or lack thereof, I care about the stench. I've asked to be sited well away from the 'dog run', which is pretty much a big grassy latrine. Phew.. get downwind of that on a hot day! And I definitely think twice before lying down on any lawn in any campground.
Anyway, that's my rant, and just another reason I choose to stay out of RV parks as much as possible.
