I understand some states actually allow people to ride in 5vers while traveling. However, your assumption that if the 5ver rolls the TV also rolls is not true. The 5ver may or may not break loose from the TV. I have seen larger TVs remain almost undamaged except for the hitch being damaged. I would suggest this. Why don't you ride in the 5ver on a short test run with your dog while your wife drives the TV. Then you will know exactly what it is like in the 5ver while moving. You will also find out if your dog gets sick while traveling in the 5er. I suspect I really don't understand your post though. You post your plan and then don't want anyone to say "no don't do it". So what is the purpose of the post? Just to agree it is a good idea?
