Don't feed Dakota at the table. Sitting on the sofa or at the computer or elsewhere he will nuzzle my elbow if he wants something. If he wants it rather badly he gets his nose under my elbow and nuzzles it upwards kinda forcefully.
He knows not to beg at the table. If he smells spaghetti or something else he likes he makes it known.
Dog Food is not good for dogs. Grains and cereals is not something their digestive tract is designed to handle and they have lots of gas when they eat it because it is fermenting or rotting in their gut.
I don't give him a lot of it.
The reason they eat carrion and raw meat in the wild is because that is all their is.
