I hope someone develops a genetic test or marker for the heart issues. It could be bred out of the whole line within a generation or two if thoughtful breeding occurred. As it stands now, development of the heart disease shows up after extensive breeding life, no signs before. I wonder if there are any lines that DON'T have heart issues in them??
