The FDA can only do what they are authorized to do and funded to do. You want more inspections then give the FDA more funding = pay more taxes.

I read the posted articles about lecithin waste-products linked to rates of heart disease. It appears that there was one study done in the US. I missed where the French were also included in this study.

...and lower overhead due to little to no clean air and clean water laws. But then they have smog thicker than San Fransico fog, toxic water, and contaminated soil (like USA in 1970).

well I would say the reason that our LEDs, CFLs, shoes, etc., etc., etc. come from China is that they can make it with reduced labor costs and can undercut the made in the US prices drastically.
