- PapPappyExplorerI don't know if they will or won't allow a GSD, but you may want to check with DogFriendly.com, to see what they offer for campgrounds.
As mentioned some places just have rules that they follow based on their own insurance. There is a super dog friendly CG here in NC (opposite side of the country) at FourPaws Kingdom CG. I would think that there are some others around the country.
As suggested, you might do better at National & State CGs, since they work by different rules.
Good luck. - PenManExplorerYou would probably get more responses in a different forum than Technical Support. Maybe try the RV Pet Stop forum or General forum with your question. In state campgrounds in New Mexico I have never seen any rules against specific breeds. Private campgrounds are more likely to ban breeds as Old-Biscuit said.
- Old-BiscuitExplorer IIINot prejudice.......it's all about the Ins. Underwriters.
They look at statistics concerning 'loss' and write ins. policies accordingly. CG owner wants ins. coverage they have to abide by policy and the exclusions.
We traveled with a 68# dog......some cgs didn't allow us due to size/weight as they had 'exclusions' based on weight.
Exclusions aren't uncommon...number of vehicles, number of people per site etc.
Check out RV Park Reviews for CGs in the areas you are interested in staying and if they have restrictions. Lots of CGs don't......especially State CGs.
