Happy Announcement

After 37 years of practicing veterinary medicine for me and managing a veterinary practice for Sandy, we have decided to retire. Sandy will continue to do her work with rescues and I’ll be able to volunteer using my training and experience.

We have had the pleasure to meet many of you at the Old Fella Rallies in Ohio and Missouri. We plan to travel a great deal more and hope to meet many more of you during our travels.

Lance, we’ll eventually get to the Southwest if you promise to keep the rattlers and scorpions away :B

I’ll still be able to access my online veterinary sources for current information and will continue to offer opinions and information based on my experiences and professional sources.

    Happy for you. Enjoy the road and hope to see you at the next Old Fella Rally. If you get down close to the Houston area let me know.

    Yeah, I've found that to be true. My old boss pretty much left me alone because he realized I knew what I was doing. My present boss, not so much . . . . :E:W:B

    Oh my goodness I just found this Dr. Doug. I am so happy for you guys to start a new part of your lives. You won't know what to do with yourselves!!

    I have been so fortunate to have benefited from your excellent advice too. I would miss having you for my vet and so would my pups.

    I hope your retirement brings you many wonderful and safe travels!!!

    Congratulation, I wonder what it will feel like when I retire? After working so many years realizing that segment of your life is over.

    After a couple of burps and delays, we finally closed.

    A few more days tying up loose ends and we're on the road - at least for a while. I agreed to do some relief work during one of the doctor's surgery.

    We're HAPPY !!!

    I look at the weather map every day :B

    It looks like it's going to be another couple of weeks, everything is still OK, it's just taking everybody longer to jump through all the hoops and complete all the tasks necessary. :(
