How much immodium?

She is having diarrhea, but she ate nothing yesterday, so I was interested in getting something in her. She normally has pumpkin and yogurt every day, but today wouldn't eat anything else. So I gave her some boiled hamburger and rice today. She ate that. No change but it may be too early to notice.. She strains so hard but only squirts out a bit, but then she didn't eat yesterday. Our other dog did this last week, but it only lasted a few hours.

We are leaving Houston tomorrow, will spend one night on the road, then will be in the Rio Grande Valley for the winter. I will definitely take her to a vet when we get there, but was hoping I could help her now.
