I Asked fur a Snack ....

The favorite evening snack in our house is pieces of watermelon rind.

My dogs would probably love it! They beg for my apple cores (seeds removed of course, since they're toxic). Never tried a pear. Hmmm...

We have an old pear tree in the back yard. At this time of year, one has to be careful with the girl dog, or she will eat so many downed pears as to make herself ill.

The boy dog is like, Gee, no thanks... to the pears. Carrots, yes.

My girls looked at the pic and couldn't figure out what Calvin was complaining about....they love pears...and oranges...and apples...even the odd piece of grapefruit ! ( won't list all the veggies they love ) But they do love a nice meaty snack too LOL
