Usually, but every once in a while you get a dog that is just really stubborn. And, what's the point. Dan gets stressed, Bud is obviously stressed and a little can food mixed with the dry is a good solution.
Sounds like this is the way it should be for everyone involved :B

I agree with all of the above. We recently needed to start our little one on GD food and he was resistant for a while. Once we started putting a little water to soften it up he was much more receptive. I am sure that he does not miss the can food anymore.
