I have this pelican . . . .
. . . . and he seems to like my BBQ. Can any of you ornithologists out there tell me if that is OK? :@ I am presuming that grilled fish would be the most appropriate entree? :h

I'm thinking raw fish might be a better choice. Bones get brittle and hard to digest when they're cooked. You could end up killing it with kindness.
