Interesting morning

In 2009, Snowmagedden. Lost power while working nightshift, in the hospital. Only one of three emergency generators came on. We did the whole shift with flashlights and long extension cords. In the morning, the cafeteria served rice krispies and juice for breakfast. We had to chart by hand on addendum notes to be scanned into the digital charts. A lot of the roads were closed and they made us nightshift folks stay on duty, as daylight couldn't come in. Yes, I missed electricity that night, (and day!).

Let's hope it's another 35 years before it happens again.

The Amish must giggle at our frustration with power outages....LOL!

All this reminds me of some of the old M*A*S*H episodes. I am sure those make-do conditions really did occur in real life.

Does Harbor Freight have them? We have a new store near here but we haven't explored much because we have all the tools we could possibly need. The headlamps sound really helpful, though.

Dunno about Harbor Freight, I have gotten them at Walmart... Really everyone should have one for outages. SO much better than trying to light spaces.

Harbor Freight has them when on sale they are cheaper than buying the batteries for them. Regular price is around $4 on sale $2.

I have several and they are great for hands free work.
