thanks...I have had an email from a lady in Florida whose boston got a pacemaker the day before Izzy...he is also on restricted activity...they are having quite the time, I had to laugh, she said she had a sign up on the front door to not ring the doorbell LOL

Izzy arrested the first time at our own vets clinic..they thought it was the propofol so she was referred to the OVC to be under anesthesiology care for the enucleation...she arrested twice during the procedure and then cardiology got involved..she went on continuos EKG while in ICU x4 days and then came home with a Holter monitor on x72 hrs..which showed Sick Sinus Syndrome...the pulmonary hypertension was discovered this time during the pre-op Doppler ...so she now has the pacemaker for the SSS and Sildenafil ( a vasodilator ) for the PH. Her prognosis is undetermined r/t to the PH

Hooray for Izzy!!! So glad she is fitted, her meds on board and home with her family. She is one tough lady and you are one devoted family. Good for all of you.
