Izzys pacemaker surgery

has been booked ...her preop is Feb 11 and then sx on Feb 12th...her heart rate is way too slow...averaging around 40 to 50 BPM with lots of periods of asystole...at this point the asystole is up to 7.3 seconds so she has not fainted, but is very fatigued...anesthesia for her is deadly so it will be nail biting time again...but it has to be done...as always we will be asking for prayers and positive thoughts ! We had hoped for more time for her to recover from her two cardiac arrests but it is now thought that is too risky to wait much longer...plus that will give the cardiologist time to monitor her pacemaker and make any adjustments that might be needed before we move away...

    Poor Izzy sure has had to endure a lot, for such a little bundle of love! Keeping all of you in our good thoughts and prayers!

    Cute is an understatement! She is precious indeed. My gosh she is still so very young to have all these health problems but so very lucky to have such awesome parents. Give her a big hug from myself, the DW and our 5 Boston's back in MO. We are definetely praying for her.

    She is very strong...easily fatigued but otherwise ok...she doesn't do much any more, just sleeps a lot...even when she goes outside she just goes to the bathroom and then comes right back in where before she would be heading down the hill to the riverbank if I wasn't watching her...
