It helps our small Papillon. It doesn't totally calm her but it does seem to help. Lighting and thunder never seemed to bother her until one day we had a lighting strike right over the house. She just happened to be in the kitchen under the sky light when the flash/bang happened. Ever since then, she starts shaking even when the thunder starts rumbling miles away. Breaks my heart to see her so scared.
