Well crud. The Thundershirt arrived; and it doesn't fit Ben's very leggy/square body. The girth circumference is correct; but the belly band is WAY too wide. With it digging into his elbows, it still reaches far enough backward to bother his, um "boy parts". If he was an Aussie, with a wider chest and longer body - it would be perfect; but he's built more like his poodle side. Deep girth, narrow chest, short-coupled
Now granted, if he's fussing about his nether regions being rubbed raw by velcro - it might take his mind off the fireworks.... (just kidding!!!) So I think I'll try using an old T-shirt cobbled together with safety pins. Everything online looks equally as long in the torso.
I have a hard time buying clothing type items online. Bought the boy a Filson rain / cold weather vest. Fit's OK, good enough as we're not going to the moon with it, but, if I could've tried it on him first. I'm sure I could've found him a better fitting one.
Wanted to buy him a real nice cold weather jacket, but, couldn't find anything in the stores, and as mentioned. Don't wanna have to do a hit or miss buying it online.
Anyways, that was a good enough of an excuse to satisfy Calvin. Saved me a few bucks at the same time! ...
