Our regional celebrations were a lot like yours. Jill did pretty well, last potty break at around 8 then a quick pee break around 10 when a big boomer made her head to the back door. Around 12:30 there was a group of older kids setting off things that sounded like half stick of dynamite - shook the house and rattled the windows. Sandy told them to "knock it off" (our city rules say you can do fireworks only in your own yard) and they willingly dispersed without any attitude!!!
I kind of longed to be out west where they had fireworks bans due to drought.
