- Deb_and_Ed_MExplorer IIJust use heavier trash bags. We travel with a "Luggable Loo" (for human use) which is lined with a WAG bag and we use cheap/heavy kitty litter to solidify the contents. No problems.
- SusanDallasExplorerI trained my cat to use pee pads. I just poured a couple of cups of cat litter on top of the pad and decreased the amount over a 10 day period. Now, I only use pee pads.I have virtually no cat odor in my house and no litter mess.
- gboppExplorerSwitch the litter to wood pellets.
- OkieGeneExplorerSave your Amazon boxes.
Put the trash inside the Amazon boxes.
Leave out.
Soon the box is gone.
The porch pirates will be soooooooooooooooo disappointed!!!! - happy2rvExplorerWe use Tidy Cats LightWeight with a heavy duty pan liner at home and on the road. The lightweight can be more expensive, but 8.5 lbs vs 20 lbs for the same size container is significant weight savings. When it comes time to change, we pull the liner, tie it up, and dispose of in the dumpster.
- Johno02ExplorerPut it in a bag in the trunk of your car. then use it on ice and snow. By winter, it is really getting right.
- LwiddisExplorer II“Change out” the entire litter box? I’ve never needed to do that.
- Beverley_KenExplorerAt home or on the road, I use the clumping litter and scoop out once or twice a day. I put the plastic bag into an empty kitty litter pail and just tie and dispose of when convenient, maybe half full bag. The lid for the pail keeps the smell contained as well.
At home now, the powers above want the kitty litter in the 'green bin', compostable waste, I have to use the compostable bags, bigger pain for me but does cut down on the trash.
Ken - romoreExplorer IICampground or roadside garbage can is how we dealt with dog deposits.
