Looking 4 Tips for Nevada Christmas Truck Camper trip?

I had a much further plan but seems time is the issue, so being we don't have as much time as I hope this year I'm thinking about just going to Nevada? Yet being we will have our dog, cuts out Vega...

OMD... I thought no one had ever heard of the Valley of Fire but me! Many many years ago, my family (Mom, Dad, five kids, a dog and a kitten) was chased out of a campsite by bees. It was quite the adventure.

I want to go back one day.
